my mother-in-law's trusty orange syrup

This syrup is great served over pancakes or crepes and very simple to make. Just remember to keep an eye on it and do not over boil it.

Method:

  1. melt all the ingredients in a saucepan
  2. boil for around 5 mins until thicker and syrupy and be sure not to let it turn into toffee!

  • half a cup sugar
  • juice of 3-4 oranges
